Online event - 22.06.2023The European Climate Initiative (EUKI) launches "EU Renovation Lunches", a new online format, which brings municipalities, local and regional authorities and stakeholders from all over the EU together. It provides an open and informal space to exchange about best practices, learnings and difficulties in implementing renovation but also to find partners for cooperation and support.
In the first edition of the Renovation Lunch, "Sustainable Building Renovation – Forming the Future", Zlatka Nikolova (Association of Rhodope Municipalities) and Ivanka Pandelieva-Dimova (Sofia Energy Center) will be sharing insights, successes, challenges and learnings of their Rhodoshop project.

Green Capital - 11.01.2022
The official launch of this European Green Capital year, which is organised by the City of Grenoble and the European Commission, in partnership with the Département de l'Isère and Grenoble-Alpes Métropole, and with the support of the French government, will take place on Saturday 15th January.

Energy efficiency - 11.01.2016
Through this survey the Commission aims to collect views and suggestions from different stakeholders, including that of towns and regions, in view of the review of the Directive, expected for 2016.
Should you want to participate, you have until 29 January 2016 to summit your response.
Energy Union - 18.11.2015annual report shows that much progress has already been made at the regional, national and European level in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the use of domestic energy sources as well as research and projects funding.
The state of the Energy Union was presented by Commissioner for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič during a press conference on 18 November. The Commission has committed to present these reports annually to take stock of the progress made on energy policies.

European Green Leaf Prize - 05.02.2015European Green Leaf is the new competition for cities committed to the environment. With this award, the European Commission wants to recognize the effort made by small cities (between 50.000 and 100.000 inhabitants) to generate green growth and to stimulate citizens' environmental awareness and involvement.
