CEMR is currently looking to host 3 interns for 3–6 months starting in September 2024.
Whenever needed, s/he will support some policy-related project implementation such as the Local, Social, Digital project or Living-in.EU and twinning activities.
When needed, will assist in drafting reports, publications, and surveys and collect best practices in the framework of the ongoing Projects & Programmes activities.
Currently, the team is delivering on the main following projects: Reference Framework for Sustainable Cities, Covenant of Mayors, Living-in.EU, Bridges of Trust, Sun4Ukraine and a sub-grant promoting twinning and partnership building.
The intern will get involved in the work of the team, attend, and contribute to weekly team meetings, and other team coordination moments, support and participate in meetings and events, support media monitoring and coverage of events, follow the legislative agenda and attend EP Committee meetings, draft policy briefs and newsletters, support project monitoring and implementation, and assist in drafting articles, reports, publications, studies, or good practices.

Project Officer - Climate & Energy
The Project Officer for Climate and Energy will assist local and regional governments in implementing climate and energy policies, thereby advancing the EU's goal of climate neutrality.
In this context, the Project Officer's responsibilities include executing projects related to capacity-building, raising awareness, and organising high-level events at both EU and national levels. These efforts are designed to support local and regional governments as well as their national associations.
The Project Officer collaborates closely with the Project Lead and reports to the Director of Projects & Programmes.

Accounting and Administrative Assistance
You will join a team of 4 people and report directly to the Head of Finance and Administration. Within the framework defined by the Management of the Association, you will provide support and practical assistance in the accounting and administrative field in order to contribute to the optimal functioning of the service.
