Discover the new CEMR faces Since 1st January 2016, CEMR has a new presidency. The Mayor of Santander and former president of our Spanish association (FEMP), Iñigo Joaquín de la Serna Hernáiz, is to serve a one-year mandate. His election took place on 7 December 2015, at the occasion of the CEMR Policy Committee in Paris.
The new president, who succeeds former mayor of Almere (The Netherlands), Annemarie Jorritsma, said during his inaugural speech that he will work for a strong and united organisation, and that he will represent all members equally on the European and global scene.
