The 4th European Conference on Sustainable Cities and Town (9 and 10 June 2004)'s report, speeches summaries and pictures are available online.

 

The signature of the Aablorg commitments by the representatives of 110 municipalities closed on the 11 June 2004. 50 to 60 municipalities had announced at the end of the conference their adhesion to the ten commitments, which devise to help cities and towns achieve sustainability.

 

Since then over 200 local governments have signed the ten Aalborg's commitments.

 

Aalborg's conference has been organised by Aalborg's Town, CEMR and ICLEI (local governments for sustainability).
