Employment week 2005: helping to meet Europe's goals (12-14 April, Brussels)
Employment Week 2005, Europe's conference, and exhibition for employment, economic development, training policy and application, will be held from 12th to 14th of April 2005 in Brussels.
It will focus on meeting Europe's goals for employment, the review of the -Lisbon strategy' and the revised European Social Fund (ESF). Full of organisations will present their employment and regeneration projects and initiatives.
Amongst ketnote speakers are François Biltgen, Minister of Labour, Luxembourg; Dagmar Ziegler, Minister of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Families for the Land, Brandenburg, Germany; Odile Quintin, Director-General of the Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities DG of the European Commission...
Key conference topics will include:
- the latest political commitments of governments and reactions of business and workforce
- a variety of successful regional and local job creation experiences
- the impact and implications of a wide range of EU social policies
- the financial review of the EU concerning its policy goals

Employment Week 2005 is planned with the co-operation of the Directorate-General of Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, European Commission, with the support of CEMR
