Mobility

Eurocities, Energie-Cités, Climate Alliance, in partnership with the Council of European Municipalities and Regions, are organising the European Mobility Week (EMW) from 16 to 22 September 2006.

 

The 2006 edition will be held under the theme of climate change. Participating local authorities are invited to organise a week of activities promoting clean modes of transport, invite citizens and stakeholders to express their visions on their urban transport system as well as organise a carfree day on 22 September. All local authorities willing to participate to the mobility week may register on-line on the European Mobility Week website.

 

The EMW aims to influence mobility and urban transport issues for the long-term as well as to improve health and quality of life of European citizens.
