Sustainable territorial and local development

Global City is an international forum that will be held from 17 to 19 Mai in Lyon, France. This initiative wants to give the opportunity to all city actors, both public and private, to meet each other. Through the exchange of international best practices, the forum wants to contribute to making our cities places where it is good to live, work and invest.

 

A conference will be held in parallel to the forum with plenary sessions, presentations and workshops who will concentrate on a variety of themes like the sustainable city, the Lisbon strategy and European integration.

 

More than 1.000 international experts and decision makers in urban management will meet in Lyon.

The Global City forum was organised for the first time in 2005. It is an initiative of Reed Midem in collaboration with organisations like Eurocities and Maires de Grandes Villes.
