From migration to climate change, towns and regions face a growing array of challenges in which local and global issues are intertwined. But how can local governments create development strategies in an integrated, inclusive and participatory way? Join us at our masterclass session on “Designing strategies tailor-made for local needs” at the CEMR Congress in Innsbruck (Austria), on Thursday 7 May at 9:30, to find out.

In this session, mayors and regional leaders will share their experiences and insights on the links between local government and the European and global agendas. They will share examples of local governments and national associations working together to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). You will also discover tools such as the Reference Framework for Sustainable Cities (RFSC) to help you design your own comprehensive and inclusive strategy for local development.
