Age-Friendly Environments (AFE-INNOVNET)

Ageing - 27.05.2015

The best ways to build partnerships between local government, researchers, industry and civil society
Challenging the alarmist assumption that population ageing is a burden, AGE Platform Europe invites you to a seminar on how to lay the ground work for a strong partnership in an ageing Europe.

The seminar is organised in Frankfurt, on 2 July 2015, in the framework of the German Seniors Fair. It will be an opportunity to present the EU Project “Innovation for age-friendly environments” which aims at mobilising a EU-wide community of local and regional governments and other stakeholders to ensure that citizens remain healthy and active longer into their old age.

Invited speakers include EU commissioner in charge of digital economy and society, Günther Oettinger, CEMR executive director, Angelika Poth Mögele, as well as Ursula Krickl, representing the German association of towns and municipalities (DSTGB).

The event will be translated in English and French.
