For the 3rd time, the European Commission, DG Energy and Transport, is offering a training programme for urban transport professionals.

 

The training is targeted at mid-career managers and executives working in local/regional authorities or for public transport operators in EU Member States and Applicant countries. It consists of four seminars that will take place in different European cities:

 

1. Improving the use of infrastructure and systems (Brussels, 27-28 Jan. 2005)

2. Increasing the efficiency and fairness of urban transport systems (Prague, 24-25 Feb. 2005)

3. Promoting clean and alternative transport modes (Parma, 28-29 April 2005)

4. Developing and monitoring urban transport policies (Rotterdam, 2-3 June 2005)

 

The seminars are held in English and the number of participants is limited to 55 persons. Applicants need to subscribe to the full cycle of 4 seminars. The programme is free of charge, participants are only required to cover their travel and accommodation expenses.
