Conference : "European social dialogue and public administration" (Maastricht 20/21 september 2004)
The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) is organising a seminar entitled "European social dialogue and public administration" in Maastricht (Netherlands) on 20/21 September 2004.
The conference aims to clarify the debate concerning the role of trade unions in the public administration sector as well as the creation of a public administration sector for the European social dialogue.
Speakers will include Gérard Druesne, EIPA Director General; Markus Gustafsson, vice Chairman of the Council of European Municipalities' Employers platform; Philippe Pochet, Director of the European Social Observatory, and representatives from the European Commission's DG Employment and Social affairs and from several public administrations.
The seminar will take place at the European Institute of Public Administration (O.L. Vrouweplein 22 - 6211 Maastricht). It will be held in English and French.
