Climate and energy transition

The Association of Cities and Regions for Recycling has published, in partnership with CEMR, a leaflet on sustainable consumption in cities.
 

The leaflet is one tool in a broader project aimed at inciting local and regional government to promote more sustainable consumption patterns. It is co-financed by the European Commission.
 

The project stems from striking figures : each year, every European produces 500 kilos of waste, and consumes 50,000 kilos of resources. Local and regional government too has a role to play in this field.
