Europe's towns and regions say "no!" to human trafficking
The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) and its Italian section (AICCRE) call on local and regional government to support the "No to human trafficking!" (Tratta no! in Italian) project.

Tratta no! asks Europe's local and regional authorities to adopt a new, global, approach to tackle human trafficking on their territory, and to promote the Council of Europe's declaration against trafficking in human beings. Tratta no! encourages local and regional government to set up legal immigration programmes, to revitalise prevention policies in this field, and to take into consideration this issue in a holostic way.

Furthermore, CEMR and AICCRE call on local governments to press their national government to sign and ratify the Council of Europe's Warsaw convention (on action against human trafficking).

Tratta no! is cofinanced in the framework of the European initiative Equal.
