Linking Local Actors: a website to promote employment and economic development
The European Commission's website "Linking Local Actors" helps find examples of best practices on local employment, find the most partners for exchanges of information, and set up joint projects to develop local employment.
It aims to provide the means for networking and close cooperation between the Commission and local economic and employment development actors. It boasts a search engine to help find new partners, and a forum; the website also provides information on the different types of funding sources available to local governments in the field of employment.
Linking Local Actors is funded by the Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the European Commission. It is available in English, French and German.
