Climate and energy transition

The Climate Action Change Network Europe has issued a leaflet on what to do to tackle climate change (July 2007).

 

It contains 50 basic and very operational tips on how to save energy or how to make your energy.consumption more sustainable by using renewable energy. The tips are collected in the leaflet within the following areas: energy efficiency at home and in the office, transport, consuming and waste, alternative energy sources.

 

The last three tips in the leaflet give advice on how you can act in order to persuade others to change habits through the media, political representatives and through online action.

 

Finally, the leaflet features a number of useful links to websites on climate change, energy efficiency, emission calculators etc.

Background information

 

The Climate Action Network Europe is a European network working with climate and energy issues. The network has over 100 members (mainly NGOs) in 25 European countries.
