Future of the workplace - 03.07.2012

Social dialogue: register for final conference on future of the workplace before 27 August!
The final conference of the European social dialogue project “Future of the workplace” is to be held on 15 October 2012 in Prague, the Czech Republic, with the aim of finding sustainable solutions to anticipate change and modernise the local and regional government sector as a workplace.

The event will take a look at the conclusions of the six workshops organised over the course of 2012 on a number of themes* revolving around social dialogue between trade unions and trade union employers organisations in local and regional government administrations.

The final objective will be to develop a common European framework for action for municipalities and regions as employers.

The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) and the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) are co-organising the final conference.  A final publication will be released at the end of the project, putting forward recommendations from the workshops and final conference.
