Participate to APAJH Trophies on the inclusion of people with disabilities
The Federation of Associations for Adults and Young People with Disabilities (APAJH) is launching its 3rd edition of the APAJH Trophies, open to local authorities and countries of the European Union.

The APAJH Trophies were created to encourage and to put on the map initiatives promoting the insertion of people with disabilities into the social, cultural and professional life. Five trophies and one "honorific trophy" will award best practices in the following areas:
  • the right to school education and culture
  • the accessibility of public services
  • the professional insertion
  • the accessibility in towns
  • a European best practice
A jury will evaluate the contributions according to the following criteria among others: the impact on the daily life of people with disabilities, the exemplarity, the sustainability and the efforts made.

Created in 1962, the Federation of APAJH is responsible for 583 institutions or services hosting people with disabilities. The federation has 25,000 members in France.

Closing of the registration: 5 January 2007
Awarding of the trophies: 16 March 2007 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris
