Town twinning

Town twinning and the European integration process (Kladno, 21-23 Oct)
AICCRE, the Italian section of CEMR are organising a conference on The role of town twinning in the European integration process - The added value of European citizenship, in Klado (Czech Republic) between 21 and 23 October 2004.
 
Among the speakers feature :
  • Stanislav Gross, Czech Prime minister
  • Dan Jiránek, Mayor of Kladno
  • Ladislav Svoboda, Deputy Speaker of Czech Senate
  • Several European MPs and representatives of local and regional governments
The main themes of the conference will be the role of town twinning in the creation of European citizenship, and the role of local and regional government for a Europe against discriminations.
 
The conference is co-organised by the Lombardy section of AICCRE and with the support of the European Commission.
