Mayors from Latin America and Europe commit to tackle climate change
Mayors from the EU, Latin America and Caribbean met on 4 June in Brussels to discuss how local government from both regions can contribute to economic growth and tackle climate change. As a result of the discussions, local leaders adopted a declaration (available in English and Spanish) to commit to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and set up projects to adapt their territories to climate change.
