Discover how we are reinforcing local and regional governments’ role on active ageing
The first edition of the newsletter of the thematic network on innovation for age-friendly environments (AFE-INNOVNET) is already out. Have a look it and get a more detailed overview of the activities of this network in which we are playing an active role.
Launched on 4 March 2014, AFE-INNOVNET aims at finding and sharing solutions to ensure a good quality of life for elderly people, especially in terms of transport, housing, employment, health services.

CEMR strengthens its work in the field of active ageing through the new Thematic Network on innovation for age-friendly environments
The thematic network on innovation for age-friendly environments (AFE-INNOVNET) will be at the forefront of finding and sharing solutions to support active and healthy ageing through the development of age-friendly environments, in other words, by ensuring a good quality of life for elderly - in terms of transport, housing, employment, health services, among others.
Officially launched on 4 March 2014, the consortium is composed of 28 partners from 16 EU countries, among them, local government, research centers, civil society and industry representatives.
