Local and Regional Dialogues on Cohesion Policy

The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), in partnership with DG REGIO and local and regional government associations and partners, has decided to engage in 60 local dialogues to discuss the added value of cohesion policy at local and regional level, as well as the investment priorities of towns and regions in eight EU Member states: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden.

Two events have already taken place under this initiative: the first one on 9 November 2017 organised by the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG) in The Hague, and the second one on 2 February this year in Vienna with the Bürgerforum Europa.
